RELEASE NOTES ============= This guide applies for version 3.3 of the SINFONIA repository as released on 2024/06/24. These are the main improvements, new features and bugfixes applied in this version: - **Improvements:** - Unzipping files in the repository: - Disabled partial unzip, as it was generally misunderstood by users. - Unzip errors registry kept. - By default, ZIP content is extracted as it is, with no intermediate folder. This becomes an option by means of a checkbox. - "Send" button only active if an unzipping destination is selected. - Progress bar fully drawn from 1% to 100% when unzipping files. - FTP: - No temporary folder when moving from FTP to repository. - FTP downloads are not allowed anymore from the web interface, FTP client usage is encouraged for that. - User account dropdown: - “Log out” button clearly separated from the other options in order to avoid accidental clicks (and the subsequent undesired logout). - Progress bar: - Visualization improvement when various simultaneous progress bars. - Size calculus: - Added script to properly calculate folder sizes. - Permissions: - New screen for managing folder's permissions. - **New Features:** - An user guide. - Background tasks: - Downloads and move/copy operations. - Messages for notifications about their completion with a direct link to the destination folder. - Message tray icon on top with visual alert of unread messages. - A new button to permanently delete all elements of the trash bin at once. - API Swagger: - Access to Repository open API - Documentation of API endpoints - Matlab Compiler Runtime 2024a for running Matlab-based AI models - Tooltips - **Bugfixes:** - Unzipping files: - Intermediate folder for unzipping does not include the ".zip” extension in its name. -Trash bin: - Full content shown again, some deleted resources were not being listed. - Quick search: - Deleted resources do not appear anymore as search results. - Full results button ([...]) restored. - Password recovery works again. - Documents' external viewer works again.
